Nearly Three Decades of Family Law ExperienceGreg assists clients in all aspects of family law and is recognized by judges, peers, and former clients as one of Wisconsin's leading family law attorneys. For nearly three decades, he has represented individuals in divorce, paternity, custody, placement, and support matters, including cases involving complex business interests, financial issues, and sensitive child-related disputes. Throughout his career, Greg has handled matters at both the trial and appellate levels, including cases that have resulted in published decisions from Wisconsin appellate courts.A Personal Approach to Family LawAs the founder of Mager Family Law, Greg has built his practice on trust, relationships, and a highly personal and private approach to client service. He founded Mager Family Law to provide the level of responsiveness, accessibility, and individual attention that family law clients deserve. By maintaining a focused family law practice, he can work directly with clients and remain closely involved in every stage of their case. He believes family law clients deserve direct access to their attorney, practical guidance, and honest advice during some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Known for being accessible, responsive, and straightforward, Greg helps clients focus on issues, evaluate their options, and make sound decisions for themselves and their families.In addition to representing clients, Greg has dedicated significant time to advancing the practice of family law through leadership roles with the American Bar Association and State Bar of Wisconsin, contributions to legal education, service as Editor in Chief of the Wisconsin Journal of Family Law, and appointment as a Court commissioner for the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. He is also a frequent author and speaker on family law topics and has presented educational programs for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the State Bar of Wisconsin, and the Milwaukee County Office of the Family Court Commissioner.A Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Board-Certified Family Law Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, Greg combines extensive trial experience with a client-centered approach focused on achieving meaningful and lasting resolutions. His work on behalf of clients and contributions to the profession have earned recognition among Milwaukee's leading family law attorneys and the respect of judges, peers, and professional organizations throughout Wisconsin.
